Lighting the way to accurate quick ball placement with a visible on the playing field first down line to gain
We have one 200-watt yag green laser mounted in a control room in the stadium, (automatically adjusted wattage and power based on the ambient light sensed in the stadium, high sun higher wattage, lower light less power) connected via thin fiber optic strong coaxial cable, to one or more laser projectors mounted from directly overhead and angled directly down safely onto the playing field. Controlled by the referees on the field and in the booth, by a ring on their finger, when the ring is pressed the line appears on that exact spot 53.3 yards across the field. Instant on, and instant off - by a simple press of a button on the referee’s ring. As the official first down markers are moved up and down the field, and or the officials mark the first down, so moves the overhead projectors via computer algorithm, to directly overhead to project our first down laser line down onto the field.
ALL THE KEY TALKING POINTS LISTED BELOW HERE:
There are more first down calls made in a football game, than there are goal line calls. Yet the goal line is visible, and the first down line is not.
Currently television viewers see the yellow graphic first down line to gain on TV while watching a game at home. However, the players, referees, coaches and fans in the stadium cannot see that same visual aid. First-Down call failures presently cost the sport accuracy in ball placement, millions in wasted play and revenue time.
OUR FIRST DOWN LASER LINE IS VISIBLE TO FANS IN THE STADIUM, THE PLAYERS, COACHES AND REFEREES AS WELL AS ALL BROADCAST CAMERA ANGLES FOR VIEWERS AT HOME TO SEE AND USE AS REFERENCE.
Safer and easier for players to see where the first down is.
100% Accuracy and instant ball placement for the game, its referees and officials who are calling the game.
Enhance in-stadium fan experience (with a visible line to gain on the actual field itself) as seen at home now with the yellow graphic line on TV.
It will help to prevent spine, head, neck and concussion injuries.
(The players association wants this, for their players safety and longevity)
Shorten the overall game time. Cut out wasted time finding the correct placement of the ball, and always know visibly, when a player makes a first down.
CAN YOU IMAGINE PLAYING THE GAME OF FOOTBALL WITHOUT A VISIBLE GOAL LINE?
OF COURSE NOT!
THEN THE FIRST DOWN LINE SHOULD BE VISIBLE TOO.
